How about a 5200mm F14 lens for your shiny new Rebel DSLR? If you have 45 thousand dollars of change between the cushions in your couch then the telephoto lens of all telephoto lenses could be yours!
I don’t know about you but my monopod wont support a 5200mm lens 
. For the asking price of 45 thousand dollars, used I might add, Canon should include Image Stabilization. I try to be discrete when taking photos so perhaps the Zeiss 1700/4 APO Sonnar is more my speed.

I’m a bit shy while shooting weddings and often reach for my 70-200mm, but I think this might be overdoing it for me. Should you decide to pick it up through the auction I’d love to come shoot it sometime!
Well the good news is that shooting from a mile away should make you very discrete. Of course that would mandate an outdoor wedding or one that takes place in a glass church. Also, in the summer you would get a lot of distortion from hot surfaces between your camera and the bride. I don’t reckon she would find that particularly flattering. :-p
