PocketWizards are the industry standard for wireless flash triggering. I personally use a trio of PocketWizard transceivers for my flash triggering needs and I have found the “Wizards” to be indispensable. As great as PocketWizards are they have one pitfall, they don’t mount easily to anything. The transceivers rely on a stupid little strap that I suppose is intended to dangle the PocketWizard from a light stand. I never felt good about letting 170 dollars of kit dangle insecurely from anything.
Apparently I wasn’t the only photographer that felt this way about the stupid PocketWizard strap.
Canon EX 580 II Flash with HIldozone Transceiver Caddy and PocketWizard
The Hildozine Transceiver Caddy was designed to mount a PocketWizard transceiver easily and securely. The caddy attaches to the PocketWizard transceiver and then to a boom, light stand or portable flash. The combination of the caddy and transceiver looks professional and is very sturdy.
Hildozone PocketWizard Transceiver Caddy
The cost for this handy dandy flash accessory is about 15 dollars and is available in Lighting section of our Amazon Store. 15 dollars seems a little high but once you see the PocketWizard caddy in use you forget about the price.

Liana bought one of these caddies a few months ago to test it out after first seeing them in the stores. Since I typically setup our lights at weddings and receptions, I’ve had the most hands on time with these things and I can say that the one we have has been very useful. The flexibility of attaching a PocketWizard to the flash body, light stand, or super clamp has been very helpful in making setting up our lights much more efficient. I much prefer to use one of these caddies rather than apply velcro to all of our gear.
I love these things. Velcro is sort of goofy and thick rubber bands covers up the buttons on the PocketWizards. This caddy is a great idea and should have came in the PocketWizard box.
